Procedure for Reporting Alleged Copyright Infringement

If you believe content hosted or published by 1st North Star Consulting infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [INSERT COPYRIGHT EMAIL].

A Complaint Should Include

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification and location of the material claimed to infringe
  • Your name and contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Review and Removal

We may remove or restrict access to disputed material while reviewing a sufficiently complete complaint. We may also request additional information.

Repeat Infringement

Where appropriate and legally applicable, accounts or service relationships involving repeated substantiated infringement may be restricted or terminated.

Counter-Notices

Where an applicable legal framework provides a counter-notification process, a person whose content was removed may submit the information required by that framework. This page should be reviewed by counsel before representing it as a formal statutory DMCA agent procedure.
